English Language Arts

English Language Arts and Spanish Teacher: Eugenia Jauregui

I’m originally from Northern California.  My last name is of ‘Basque’ descent so that explains the crazy last name!

I am a single mom of one awesome spoiled ‘not so little’ boy who attends Onekama Consolidated.

I used to have Quarter horses that I showed & competed with however, for the last 8 years I’ve had to step away from them in order to concentrate on family.   I am a car enthusiast-muscle cars from the 60’s are my favorite… still searching for my old 67 Camaro RS/S that I sold!!!

My major in college was Kinesiology with a Minor in Adapted P.E., and graduated from Cal. State Univ. of Northridge in 1991. I received my original teaching credential from California State Univ. East Bay & a Teaching Credential with a B.C.L.A.D. in Spanish.  I started subbing in California in 2007 to see if I liked teaching and fell in love with it and started my journey.  In California I had the pleasure of being a Spanish Immersion Teacher and found it extremely rewarding.

I am very grateful to finally be back in teaching where my true passion lies.  I look forward to meeting new faces here and I love what my future looks like!
